I got 200.00 for my birthday from my parents. I needed that money so bad for bills I was so happy to get it. Then next day I got pulled over in Lawrence Kansas for Speeding. I was going to go to court and get the charges reduced but had no excuses and was unsure if I should go. Then I broke my ankle and could not get to court so I just sent in the amount I owed for the ticket the amount came to 198.00. There went my Birthday money. Easy come easy go. That was the first ticket I had in about 10 years I was drivng way too fast and had no excuse for it. Sure wish I would of fought it now but had too much going on to deal with it. I guess the police man did not care that the day before was my Birthday. It was late at night and he asked me where I was going. I later I thought who's business was it where I am going. Can they ask you that do you have to answer I answered try'n to be nice and hoping I would not get a ticket I did not want to get mouthy I got a ticket anyway but why do they always ask where you are going or where are you coming from? I don't get that part. Anyway I no longer speed along that stretch of highway yet everyone passes me there. Where is that cop now? Anyway I paid it and went on.
